These dice were purchased in a Limerick hobby shop for fifty cent. They are constructed of painted solid plastic. The label indicates they have been supplied by the Tobar company in the UK and were probably produced by the Taizhou Huangyan Hengfeng Arts & Crafts Company. This is another example of a company that specialises in mass produced items.
Game pieces were traditionally made of bone and ivory. This die, of unknown origin, is hand crafted from bronze. The date of its origin is also unknown but bronze dice were popular during the time of the roman empire. It sits alongside a loaded die made of chalk.
